Cocktails were delicious and tapas style dishes were great for sharing. Our Polenta Chips were forgotten, but was quickly remedied after we realised, once we had already paid the bill. We were full anyway, so did not miss them.....just something to look forward to for next time :)

Hmmmm... not a full-on restaurant but not a bistro either. A step up from pub fare. Disappointed with the prawn dish as they economised by cutting the prawns to make it appear there was a lot in the dish. Not really Italian. Strange service too, can't put my finger on it.

Its a shame this restaurant can't get it together, because the location and atmosphere is great. They served us woeful children's meals… And the while the adults food was pleasant, unfortunately we felt it was not worth going back for. There is much better Italian food in Paddington where you pay the same price and leave knowing you will return.

Lovely ambience, the food was simple but very good quality. We had Wagyu Beef Carpaccio which was very flavorsome and beautifully presented. The waitstaff were all friendly and always checking if everything is OK.

Service was particularly good. Without asking we were moved to a better table when our adjacent table was invading our space somewhat.

With its new chef, La Scala has ramped it up several notches! Alond with Cipri, best Authentic Itslian in the Eastern Suburbs!

Warm and friendly service. Overall, the food was good but nothing was outstanding. If I lived in the neighbourhood, I would visit now and again but I wouldn't make the cross-Harbour trip more often than once a year.
